Greenwave Innovations receives federal funding to integrate AI into its energy platform — helping Canadian businesses save resources, cut emissions, and strengthen Canada’s clean economy.

Greenwave receives PrairiesCan funding to lead AI-driven energy innovation across Canada.

Greenwave Innovations is proud to announce its selection as one of three Saskatchewan companies to receive funding from Prairies Economic Development Canada (PrairiesCan) under the Regional Artificial Intelligence Initiative (RAII).

The Honourable Eleanor Olszewski, Minister of Emergency Management and Community Resilience and Minister responsible for PrairiesCan, announced over $1.3 million in total investments to help Saskatchewan businesses adopt artificial intelligence and lead Canada’s digital transformation. Of that, $425,000 was awarded to Greenwave Innovations Inc. to enhance its AI-powered energy monitoring and resource management platform for commercial and industrial buildings.

This investment will enable Greenwave to integrate AI-driven predictive analytics, optimize maintenance schedules, and proactively identify energy waste, leaks, and equipment inefficiencies, helping building owners save energy, reduce emissions, and extend asset life.

“We’re proudly Canadian, and we believe in building a smarter, more efficient future for our country,” said Dean Clark, Founder and CEO of Greenwave Innovations. “This support from PrairiesCan accelerates our mission to conserve Canada’s energy resources, empower Canadian businesses, and strengthen our clean economy, all while keeping our data and innovation right here in Canada.”

Based in Regina, Greenwave’s AI advancements reinforce its long-standing commitment to sustainability and data sovereignty. The company ensures that all client data is collected, processed, and stored securely within Canada, aligning with its values of transparency and national stewardship.

As part of this initiative, PrairiesCan’s investment recognizes Greenwave’s leadership in combining technology, sustainability, and Canadian innovation to build a cleaner and more resilient future.
